accDemandRipSeqNumber

Module: ACC-RIP

OID (symbolic): ACC-RIP::accDemandRipSeqNumber

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.16.17.1.6

What is accDemandRipSeqNumber?

This OID stores the sequence number of the most recent RIP update received from the neighbor. Network engineers check this to verify that new routing updates are arriving in order and to detect missing or out-of-sequence packets. For example, a value of 42 indicates the last update received had sequence number 42, and the next update should have sequence number 43.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.16.17.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-RIP::accDemandRipSeqNumber

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.16.17.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-RIP::accDemandRipSeqNumber.1
