accPingTimeMax

Module: ACC-PING

OID (symbolic): ACC-PING::accPingTimeMax

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.30.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Time (seconds) to wait for a correct Ping response before giving up and generating the next Ping packet.

What is accPingTimeMax?

This OID defines how long the device will wait in seconds (1-60) for a ping response before giving up and moving to the next packet. Network operators adjust this timeout based on expected network latency and reliability; higher values accommodate slower or congested links. Setting accPingTimeMax to 30 means the device will wait up to 30 seconds for a ping response before treating it as lost.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.30.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-PING::accPingTimeMax

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.30.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-PING::accPingTimeMax.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.30.6.1 i <value>
