accPingDataMax
Module: ACC-PING
OID (symbolic): ACC-PING::accPingDataMax
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.30.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description:
Maximum number of data bytes included in the Ping packet. If this value is greater than accPingDataMin, the data field length of the Ping packet is a random value between accPingDataMin and accPingDataMax. Otherwise the data field length is fixed and specified by accPingDataMin.
What is accPingDataMax?
This OID sets the maximum data byte size for ping packets, ranging from 4 to 1500 bytes. When set to a value larger than accPingDataMin, the device randomly varies the packet size between the minimum and maximum values to simulate real-world traffic conditions. For instance, if accPingDataMin is 64 and accPingDataMax is 1500, each ping packet will have a random payload size within that range.
