accMspUdpPort

Module: ACC-MSP

OID (symbolic): ACC-MSP::accMspUdpPort

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.76.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Changes the default UDP port number that MSP uses when sending and listening for MSP packets.

What is accMspUdpPort?

This integer (range 1 to 65,535) specifies the UDP port number that MSP uses to send and receive protocol messages between peers. Engineers modify this if the default port conflicts with other services or if firewall policies require alternate ports. For example, changing from port 5000 to port 5555 ensures MSP traffic passes through firewall rules that only allow that port number.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.76.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MSP::accMspUdpPort

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.76.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MSP::accMspUdpPort.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.76.1.6.1 i <value>
