Module: ACC-MSP

OID (symbolic): ACC-MSP::accMspStatMemoryFails

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.76.1.29

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description: Indicates the number of times this MSP protocol entity has failed to acquire memory when performing its protocol operations.

What is accMspStatMemoryFails?

This counter records how many times the MSP protocol engine failed to allocate sufficient memory to process protocol operations. A rising counter indicates the device is experiencing memory pressure, which degrades MSP performance and can eventually cause the protocol to fail entirely. For example, if this counter reaches 20 or higher, the device likely needs a reboot or additional RAM to stabilize MSP operations.
