Description:

The number of packets received on this port which were discarded because they were too short.

What is accXnsPortTooShorts?

This OID counts malformed XNS packets received on the port that are too short to contain a valid header and routing information. Engineers watch this counter to detect corrupted packets from upstream devices or faulty network cables. A value of 23 means the port received 23 packets that the device could not parse because they lacked required fields.
