OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accXnsPortFwdErrs

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.6.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description:

The number of packets received on this port which could not be forwarded, either because there were transmitted via a MAC-layer broadcast, or because their source or destination network number were unknown.

What is accXnsPortFwdErrs?

This OID counts XNS packets that failed to forward because they were broadcast frames, or because the device couldn't identify the source or destination network. High values here signal routing table problems, unknown network numbers, or configuration mismatches that prevent proper packet delivery. An engineer seeing this counter climb to 500+ would investigate whether network topology changes or incomplete route advertisements are causing the failures.
