What is accXnsNetMtu?

This object sets the maximum transmission unit (MTU) in bytes for XNS packets on this network, ranging from 576 to 65535. Larger MTU values reduce overhead but may cause fragmentation on networks with smaller limits; engineers tune this for each segment's hardware. Setting to 1500 allows standard Ethernet frames, while 256 ensures compatibility with slower serial links.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.2.1.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accXnsNetMtu

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.2.1.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accXnsNetMtu.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.2.1.7.1 i <value>
