What is accXnsMode?

This object selects which version of the RIP protocol the XNS stack will use for route exchange. Different RIP versions have different capabilities; RIPv1 supports up to 15 hops while RIPv2 supports 16 or more. Engineers choose the RIP version based on network size and compatibility with existing routers.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accXnsMode

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accXnsMode.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.1.5.1 i <value>
