What is accXnsHostFltrPepClient?

This OID identifies a PEP (Performance Enhancing Proxy) client type affected by the host filter rule, or zero to apply the rule to all IDP traffic. Network engineers use this to apply different filtering policies to traffic that uses compression or other optimization services versus standard traffic. For example, setting this to a specific client-type value would apply the filter rule only to packets using that particular PEP client.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.11.2.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accXnsHostFltrPepClient

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accXnsHostFltrPepClient.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.21.11.2.1.3.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> accXnsHostFltrPepClient.1
