accSlotQueueMode

Module: ACC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accSlotQueueMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.24

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

Queuing mode for this slot Fair queuing provides per-conversation bandwidth allocation, with additional bandwidth allocated to higher priority traffic. Precedence queueing gives first-in-first-out service amongst priority queues.

What is accSlotQueueMode?

This integer selects the queuing discipline for this slot, choosing between fair queuing (which allocates bandwidth per conversation) or precedence queuing (which uses priority queues). Network engineers use this to balance traffic under congestion, either by ensuring each flow gets fair bandwidth or by prioritizing certain traffic classes over others. Selecting fair queuing mode ensures that a single heavy conversation does not starve other flows, while precedence mode lets high-priority traffic jump the queue.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.24
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accSlotQueueMode

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.24.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accSlotQueueMode.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.24.1 i <value>
