Description:

Protocol used on this slot. note that these enumerated values match those in accBrPortProtocol.

What is accSlotProtocol?

This integer configures which protocol the port will use, such as HDLC, PPP, Frame Relay, or other serial line protocols supported by the device. Network engineers set this during port configuration to match the protocol expected on the remote end of the circuit to ensure compatibility. Setting this to 3 might select Frame Relay mode, enabling the port to carry Frame Relay traffic at Layer 2.
