Description:

Clock mode of this port

What is accSlotClockMode?

This integer setting controls the clock mode for the port, selecting between internal (generated locally) or external (recovered from incoming signal) timing. Network engineers configure this based on whether the port is the master clock source for the link or derives timing from the remote end. Setting this to external causes the port to synchronize its transmit clock to the receive signal, preventing clock drift in synchronous links.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.23
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accSlotClockMode

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.23.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accSlotClockMode.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.23.1 i <value>
