accPingReqCnt

Module: ACC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accPingReqCnt

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.30.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

Count of Ping packets left to be generated. Setting this variable to a nonzero value causes the Ping generator to be (re)started. Setting this variable to zero causes the Ping generator to be stopped.

What is accPingReqCnt?

This OID controls the ping test generator: setting it to a nonzero value (1-1000) starts or restarts sending that many packets, while setting to zero stops the test. Network engineers use this to initiate on-demand connectivity diagnostics remotely without needing terminal access. For example, setting this to 25 sends exactly 25 ping packets to the configured destination.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.30.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accPingReqCnt

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.30.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accPingReqCnt.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.30.2.1 i <value>
