accDnMaxEndNode

Module: ACC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accDnMaxEndNode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Maximum number of broadcast endnode adjacencies

What is accDnMaxEndNode?

This parameter limits the number of broadcast end nodes that can maintain adjacencies on a single segment (range 1-1023). Engineers set this to control how many end stations can directly connect to a broadcast network segment. A setting of 256 allows up to 256 end nodes on that segment.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accDnMaxEndNode

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accDnMaxEndNode.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.6.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> accDnMaxEndNode.1
