accBrMode

Module: ACC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accBrMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.4.15

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

Bridge mode. When the mode is set to 'passive', internally generated traffic is forwarded or flooded as appropriate; external traffic is not forwarded to other external ports.

What is accBrMode?

This OID determines how the bridge forwards traffic between internal and external network segments. Engineers configure this to control whether the bridge acts in passive mode (limits external forwarding) or another mode. For example, setting to passive mode prevents the bridge from forwarding traffic received from external ports to other external ports.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accBrMode

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.4.15.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-MIB::accBrMode.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.4.15.1 i <value>
