accBrFdbTimeout
Module: ACC-MIB
OID (symbolic): ACC-MIB::accBrFdbTimeout
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.4.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description:
Time (seconds) for which a learned Forwarding Database entry is valid before being deleted if it has not been seen.
What is accBrFdbTimeout?
This OID sets the timeout period (in seconds, ranging from 10 to 65535) before dynamically learned MAC addresses are removed from the forwarding database. Network engineers adjust this value to balance between keeping stable entries and removing stale ones on networks where devices don't move frequently. For example, setting this to "300" means learned MAC addresses are forgotten if the bridge hasn't seen traffic from them for 5 minutes.
