What is accDnTrnPktRecs?

ACC-DN::accDnTrnPktRecs counts the total number of transit packets (packets being routed through this node to other destinations) received on this circuit. Network engineers monitor this counter to understand traffic patterns and verify the device is being used as a router. A high counter suggests this node is a popular backbone or transit point in the DECnet network.
