Number of hops to destination

What is accDnRtHops?

This OID shows how many intermediate routers or hops are required to reach the destination node in a routing table entry. Engineers monitor this metric to understand path length and identify when routing becomes suboptimal or when a route is unusually long. For example, a value of 3 means packets must pass through 3 intermediate gateways to reach the final destination.
