accDnMaxRtr

Module: ACC-DN

OID (symbolic): ACC-DN::accDnMaxRtr

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.21.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Maximum number of routers that can be communicated with over this circuit

What is accDnMaxRtr?

ACC-DN::accDnMaxRtr limits the number of routers (1 to 32) that can communicate with each other over this DECnet circuit. Network engineers configure this to prevent excessive router advertisements and control the size of the routing domain. Setting it to 4 means only 4 designated routers can participate in DECnet adjacencies on this circuit.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.21.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-DN::accDnMaxRtr

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.21.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-DN::accDnMaxRtr.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.21.1.5.1 i <value>
