Maximum number of hops allowed within this area
What is accDnMaxLocHop?
This OID sets the maximum hop count (1–30) allowed for a packet staying within the local DECnet area before it is discarded. Engineers use this to prevent endless loops if routing tables become corrupted or misconfigured. For example, a value of 15 means a packet cannot traverse more than 15 hops within your area before being dropped.
