Maximum number of hops allowed to another area
What is accDnMaxForHop?
This OID sets the maximum hop count (1–30) allowed when routing packets to a remote DECnet area outside the local boundary. Engineers configure this to match the expected distance to other areas and drop packets that have taken too long a path. For example, a value of 10 means you only allow routes to other areas if they are 10 hops or fewer.
