accDnMaxForCost

Module: ACC-DN

OID (symbolic): ACC-DN::accDnMaxForCost

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

Maximum cost allowed on a path to another area

What is accDnMaxForCost?

This OID defines the maximum path cost (1–1022) permitted for inter-area routes, filtering out expensive multi-area paths. Network engineers use this to enforce efficient backbone routing and avoid using poor-quality links between areas. For example, a value of 500 means any route to another area costing more than 500 is rejected as unsuitable.

Examples
