accDnMaxEndNode
Module: ACC-DN
OID (symbolic): ACC-DN::accDnMaxEndNode
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description:
Maximum number of broadcast endnode adjacencies
What is accDnMaxEndNode?
This OID limits the number of broadcast endnode adjacencies (1–1023), controlling how many diskless or terminal nodes can connect to this router. Network engineers set this to prevent terminal nodes from overwhelming the router with requests on a broadcast segment. For example, a value of 128 means up to 128 thin clients or terminals can register with this router.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.6 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-DN::accDnMaxEndNode
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.6.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-DN::accDnMaxEndNode.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.6.1 i <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> accDnMaxEndNode.1
