accDnAdjState

Module: ACC-DN

OID (symbolic): ACC-DN::accDnAdjState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.26.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The state of the adjacency.

What is accDnAdjState?

This read-only OID reports the current state of the adjacency with a neighbor, such as up, down, initializing, or waiting. Engineers monitor this to quickly identify link failures and confirm that neighboring nodes are in a stable, ready state. If accDnAdjState shows 'up', the adjacency is active and ready to forward traffic; if 'down', the link to that neighbor is broken and traffic cannot flow.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.26.1.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-DN::accDnAdjState

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.19.26.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-DN::accDnAdjState.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> accDnAdjState.1
