Description:
Determines if this local BGP entity will include the MED path attributes in announcements to this BGP peer.
What is accBgpPeerUseMed?
This OID controls whether your router includes the MED metric in route advertisements sent to this specific BGP peer. Some peers ignore MED or have policies that don't use it, so you can disable sending it to reduce update size and overhead. For example, you might disable MED (set to 0) when peering with a provider that has already stated they don't consider MED in their routing decisions.
