Description:

The default import preference for this entry's BGP peer.

What is accBgpPeerDefaultImportPref?

This OID sets the default preference value (1-255) that determines how much your router trusts routes learned from this BGP peer. Higher preference values mean the route is more trusted and more likely to be selected if multiple paths to the same destination exist. For example, you might set this to 100 for a preferred upstream provider and 80 for a backup provider, so traffic naturally flows through the preferred path.
