accBgpAggregatePref

Module: ACC-BGP

OID (symbolic): ACC-BGP::accBgpAggregatePref

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.51.6.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

The preference of the aggregate policy when a policy match is made.

What is accBgpAggregatePref?

This OID holds the local preference value (0-255) assigned to the aggregate route itself, influencing how the router treats that summarized announcement internally. Network engineers use this to prioritize one aggregation over another or to deprioritize aggregates compared to specific routes. For example, setting preference to 150 on an aggregation from one data center and 200 from another tells the router to prefer the second aggregation when both exist.
