accBgpAggregateComponents

Module: ACC-BGP

OID (symbolic): ACC-BGP::accBgpAggregateComponents

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.51.6.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

The number aggregate policy components that must be active before this aggregate policy is made active.

What is accBgpAggregateComponents?

This OID specifies how many component routes (0-10) must be active and reachable for the aggregate route to be advertised as valid. Network engineers use this to avoid advertising aggregates when the underlying infrastructure is degraded, ensuring you only advertise when sufficient redundancy exists. Setting this to 3 means 'only advertise the aggregate if at least 3 of the component subnets are reachable.'

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.51.6.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-BGP::accBgpAggregateComponents

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.51.6.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-BGP::accBgpAggregateComponents.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.51.6.1.5.1 i <value>
