What is oVpAtmPppVpi?

This OID specifies the Virtual Path Identifier (VPI) that identifies the path layer in an ATM circuit for this PPP connection; VPI is a 12-bit value in the ATM header. Network engineers set this when provisioning ATM virtual circuits to ensure traffic from this PPP link gets routed on the correct ATM path within the switch. For example, VPI=0 combined with a specific VCI creates a unique circuit identifier that the ATM network uses for forwarding.
