Description: The MTU for this port

What is oVpAtmCipMtu?

This OID sets the maximum transmission unit in bytes for packets sent over this ATM port. The MTU value is important because if you set it too large, packets will be fragmented; if too small, you waste bandwidth on overhead. A typical value might be 9180 bytes, which allows for larger frames commonly used in ATM networks without exceeding the cell payload limits.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.73.7.1.1.10
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-ATMVP::oVpAtmCipMtu

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.73.7.1.1.10.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-ATMVP::oVpAtmCipMtu.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.73.7.1.1.10.1 i <value>
