What is oVirtualPortCongestion?
This OID shows the current congestion level as a percentage, reflecting how full the virtual port's transmission queues are. Network engineers use this to detect when a virtual port is becoming overloaded and may start dropping packets if traffic doesn't decrease. A congestion value of 85% indicates the port is near saturation and real traffic loss will soon occur if the load continues.
