accAsyncIndex

Module: ACC-ASYNC

OID (symbolic): ACC-ASYNC::accAsyncIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.68.1.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

What is accAsyncIndex?

This read-write integer serves as a unique identifier for each asynchronous serial port on the device, allowing you to reference a specific port in the configuration. A network engineer would use this index to target configuration commands to a particular serial port without affecting others. For example, accAsyncIndex value of 1 refers to the first async port, value 2 to the second port, and so on, letting you set different parameters for each port independently.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.68.1.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-ASYNC::accAsyncIndex

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.68.1.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-ASYNC::accAsyncIndex.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.68.1.1.1.1 i <value>

Start monitoring ACC/Ericsson WAN access routers (legacy) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Create custom SNMP monitor using the ACC-ASYNC::accAsyncIndex OID value, configure state conditions and alerts, and monitor any ACC/Ericsson WAN access routers (legacy) from a single console.
