Description: This parameter is used to configure the EVRC coder bit rate. 0 = Variable Rate 1 = 1 kbps 2 = 4 kbps 3 = 8 kbps. Access: Online. AC INI-Param: EVRCRate
What is acVoiceCoderRateEVRC?
This parameter sets the EVRC codec bit rate: 0 = adaptive, 1 = 1 kbps, 2 = 4 kbps, 3 = 8 kbps for compatibility with specific networks. Variable rate adapts to speech content; fixed rates ensure interoperability with networks requiring specific rates or reduce bandwidth. Setting to 3 forces 8 kbps EVRC for wide-area coverage on systems that cannot handle higher rates.
