Description: A string of 8 bits, corresponding to the current administrative value of Actor_State for the protocol Partner. The bit allocations are as defined in 30.7.2.1.20. This attribute value is read-write. The assigned value is used in order to achieve manually configured aggregation.
What is acDot3adAggPortPartnerAdminState?
This configurable OID stores the 8-bit administrative state expected from the remote partner switch in the LACP negotiation, allowing manual override when automatic negotiation fails. Engineers set this when they need manual failover or when working with devices that don't support active LACP. Example: manually configuring partner state to 0x3C forces the port to behave as if the remote switch sent synchronization signals.
