Description: IP Precedence. Sets the value of the IP precedence field in the IP header for all the packets to be generated from this channel. Follow the acTIPPrecedence enumeration. Valid Range: 0-7 (default =0)
What is iPPrecedence?
This OID sets the IP Precedence field (0-7) in outgoing packet headers to prioritize voice traffic through networks. Engineers configure this for QoS to ensure voice packets bypass congestion-prone paths. A value of 6 marks packets as high-priority in the IP header.
