Description: Fax Modem Bypass Coder Type Coder to be used while performing fax/modem bypass. Usually, high bit rate coders such as G.711 and G.726/G.727 should be used. (Default = G.711 A-law).
What is faxModemBypassCoderType?
Selects the audio codec for fax/modem bypass mode as an integer. Bypass avoids transcoding by sending raw audio over RTP; codec choice affects bandwidth and signal fidelity. G.711 (64 kbps) is standard; G.726 (32 kbps) saves bandwidth but risks pitch artifacts.
