Description: The maximum time, in seconds, an SMT proxy request will remain queued waiting for a response before being discarded. Note that when the value of a3ComSysAgentProxyRemoteSmtRequests is false(2), the value of this object is ignored.
What is a3ComSysAgentRemoteSmtProxyRequestMaxAge?
This integer (1-255 seconds) sets the timeout for SMT proxy requests to remote FDDI stations. Operators configure this based on FDDI ring latency and expected response times. A value of 10 accommodates slower FDDI ring traversal times compared to internal requests.
