Description: This object controls the maximum number of unicast addresses that can be learned or configured on a port. This value is set on a per port basis. The value can't be set lower than the current number of addresses on a port.
What is a3ComSysBridgePortAddressMaxLimit?
This read-write integer (1-65535) caps the maximum number of learned unicast MAC addresses on a port, protecting the bridge's memory. Engineers set lower limits on untrusted ports to prevent MAC table exhaustion attacks. Setting it to 1000 allows the port to learn at most 1000 different source MAC addresses.
