Module: A3COM-PRIVATE-MIB
OID (symbolic): A3COM-PRIVATE-MIB::proxyArpEnabled
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.35.8.12.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Whether ProxyArp is enabled.
What is proxyArpEnabled?
This integer OID enables or disables proxy ARP, where the AP responds to ARP requests for hosts on the opposite network segment. Enabling proxy ARP allows the AP to bridge between wireless and wired segments transparently, simplifying routing for layered networks. Setting to enabled(1) makes the AP masquerade as ARP servers for both segments.
