Description: The duplex mode is for SDLC and V3. It describes the physical characteristics of the communication method used to control the request-to-send signal. It has three values which are full, half and auto.
The path has to be (re)enabled for any new setting to take effect.
What is a3ComPathDuplex?
This setting controls whether SDLC and V3 paths operate in full-duplex, half-duplex, or auto-negotiated mode for signal control. Engineers configure it to match the far-end equipment's capabilities and prevent flow-control issues. Setting auto-duplex lets the devices negotiate, while full-duplex allows simultaneous two-way transmission.
