Description: Specifies the data rate to be used on the ISDN B channel. Rate64 and Rate56 specify that the channel be connected at 64K or 56K, respectively. The connection attempt would fail if the ISDN network does not support this. If Auto is specified, an outgoing call is first attempted at 64K and, if that should fail, the call is retried at 56K. On an incoming call, the call is automatically adapted to the correct rate. The path has to be enabled for the new setting to take effect.
What is a3ComPathDialRateAdaption?
Specifies the data rate for ISDN B-channel connections: 64K, 56K, or automatic. Engineers set this based on network and modem capabilities to ensure compatible connection speeds. Auto mode tries 64K first, then 56K on failure, matching incoming calls to the appropriate rate automatically.
