Description: This object reflects the total number of S-Frames that have been transmitted by connection components on this SAP. This object is initialized to zero when the SAP is created.
Note - the ratio of the number of I-Frames to S-Frames might serve as a measure of link efficiency and, for instance, could be used to tune the acknowledgement timer.
What is llcSapStatsSFramesOut?
This counter logs outgoing supervisory frames used for flow control and acknowledgment. Engineers monitor the I-to-S ratio to tune window sizes and link parameters. High outbound S-frame counts may indicate the link needs larger windows.
