Description: This object reflects the total number of S-Frames that have been transmitted by this connection component. This object is initialized to zero when the connection component is created.
Note - the ratio of the number of I-Frames to S-Frames might serve as a measure of link efficiency and, for instance, could be used to tune the acknowledgement timer.
What is llcCcStatsSFramesOut?
This counter records Supervisory Frames transmitted by the local connection component for flow control and acknowledgment. High S-Frame transmission indicates the device is managing inbound data or recovering from congestion. A value of 8,923 frames transmitted shows active flow control engagement.
