Description: The maximum number of virtual circuits that can be established concurrently for IPX routing.
NOTE: this object is no longer supported by NETBuilders running sw version 8.0 and greater. The corresponding functionality has been replaced by the X25 Profile feature. SNMP control over this feature will be added at a later date.
What is a3ipxX25configVClimit?
This read-write INTEGER (1 to 63) limits the maximum concurrent X.25 virtual circuits for IPX routing per port. Administrators configure it to prevent resource exhaustion on older hardware by capping simultaneous circuit connections. A value of 16 allows at most 16 concurrent virtual circuits.
