Description: This allows the RARP client function to be enabled or disabled. If enabled, this system will send RARP requests. If disabled, the system will not send RARP requests.
This object corresponds to the UI parameter: -arp RarpCONTrol.
What is a3IPrarpClientCtl?
This read-write integer enables or disables the RARP (Reverse ARP) client function, which boots diskless hosts. Setting it to 1 (enabled) allows the device to send RARP requests; 2 (disabled) stops RARP transmission. Modern networks rarely use RARP, but legacy systems still depend on it for boot discovery.
