What is h3cOnuFecStatus?
This read-write enumeration controls forward error correction on both the ONU's local PHY and remote OLT PHY per IEEE 802.3ah. Engineers enable FEC system-wide to improve link reliability across the entire EPON path under poor signal conditions. Disabling reduces latency when fiber quality is already very good.
