What is axSwitchStatsIPTCPFragRcv?
This OID reports TCP packets received in fragmented form, indicating oversized TCP payloads split across multiple IP fragments. Monitoring this helps detect MTU mismatches or applications sending large payloads without respecting path MTU discovery. A count of 500 fragmented TCP packets per minute may point to a server with poor MTU configuration or a client tunneling without proper encapsulation accounting.
