What is axSwitchStatsIPFragOverlapDrop?
This OID counts overlapping fragments that were explicitly discarded, typically by a security filter or fragment reassembly engine. This is a good indicator that attack filters are actively protecting the network from fragment-based exploits. A non-zero count means the device caught and dropped suspicious fragmented packets, for example 50 malformed fragments per day in a clean network.
