What is axSmtpProxyStatsSNATFail?
This counter measures source NAT translation failures when the proxy tries to rewrite sender addresses. Engineers investigate these failures to diagnose NAT pool exhaustion, IP configuration errors, or appliance resource constraints. A sudden spike from 10 to 500 failures indicates the proxy may have lost access to NAT resources.
